Super 8 + Weddings

In this day and age, all the rage seems to be high definition.  I love editing in HD but shooting in film is a really cool medium.  If you want a nostalgic look, then look no further than Super 8 or 16mm film.

As a child I remember following my uncle Ronnie around while he filmed some of our family gatherings with his Super 8 camera. This was probably the catalyst of my interest in photography, film, and video.

We film Super 8 to add another dimension to your wedding video. Some clients elect to have their wedding covered with only Super 8 or 16mm film. Although high definition video rocks, Super 8 provides a sense of authenticity and warmth and gives it a vintage touch. Super 8 is actually film and it does provide good depth of color.

We use vintage cameras circa 1960's and only fresh film stock purchased from California.
